Vegetable Soup is a soup made from vegetables. Many different recipes and variations are possible.
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 turnip
- 1 potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 head of celery
- 1500mL of water
- 1 slice of bread, toasted and buttered
Method
- Take the onion, turnip, potatoes, carrot, and celery. Boil them in the water until the vegetables are cooked.
- Insert the bread into a bowl. Pour the soup over it.
Variations
- Tomatoes also make a welcome addition to the soup.
