This checklist is a guide, for helping your child get ready for a university checklist. With one in three people now going to university, the competition is ever growing – but it is never too early to start to get your child on the right track.
- Academic Preparation - To study a particular subject at university, your child may need certain A Levels, so it is best to research this whilst going through secondary school.
- Outside School Activities - If your child takes part in activities outside of school, such as work experience, reading, or taking up music, these extra skills will help develop your child ideas, and goals
- Job Prospects - By going to university, your child will pick up a greater range of skills, to help make them more employable
- Start Saving - By saving earlier, university will become more affordable for your child in the future
